Intriguing. Believable from Michael's POV, as he was just the young upstart back then (and Ayrton was the 'champion'), so it is easy to see the sort of desperation he harbours for Ayrton and the jealousy he has for Gerhard. And it's easy to see why he was being faulted as the villain in circumstances that weren't his to control.
