Good to see that the English appreciate Cesc more than the Spaniards. When Villa got injured and they brought Cesc into the game , the commentators said "Oh no, Villa's much more needed, who'll score our goals now??" and then proceeded on a thesis on how "Cesc Fábregas and Xabi Alonso don't play football the Spanish way" anymore *head desk* Yeah, I know, they bring some elegance to the game, how awfuuul! Even Fernando has changed his game style completely (for better)...and Cesc was definitely man of the match, with those lovely passes, ffs.

Anyways...Russia were like...lost in limbo and Spain definitely deserved to win, I just hope Germany will play them like they played Portugal.

Everyone's out on the streets celebrating and honking and whatnot...still sucks, not feeling anything much about this win *pout* Even though I love 4 Spanish players (Cesc, Xabi, Torres, Iker), I can't feel all yay about Spain for some reason *shrug*

And of course the commentators spent all the match (since minute 1) saying how Spain was already definitely in the final anyway *eye roll* They even shouted "Penaltyyyyy!!! Why does the referree not see the harm the Russians have done our poor babies, oh noes!!" around three times. I swear I have never (and probably never will) heard such biased commentary. But it happens in every sport in which they have Spaniards *sigh*

I'm about as bored with the oh-my-god-Max-Mosley-is-a-sex-freak-eleven-eleven-eleven thing as I'm ever going to get.

I don't give a shit about Max Mosley's sex life.

I don't want to see images from that sex tape on the news while I have my lunch.

I don't like Max Mosley more than the other person, and I haven't written about this issue til now, because I think it's such a pile of bullshit.But let's just lay low with all the awesome hypocrisy. I'd like to know how any other sex tapes involving anyone else that's famous look. Lovely, right?

My headache might have actually gone away had I not woken up. Now it got worse.

Whatever.

So last night I talked to both my grandmothers, I watched Romanian TV (they're one hour ahead there, so I went through two 2007 -> 2008 passings^^
I was with Mum and Lara when 12 struck, and then Dad came home from work a while later. Nuria and Marta arrived at about 3 and we went to a very nice and cosy bar..I had a Malibu with pineapple juice (ooh, the amount of alcohol in that:P) and there was much laughing and lounging on the sofas we had there.
Then we decided we might as well just have breakfast and we found a pretty nice café that was open. I'm going to try the Russian Coffee one day, I swear. And Parisian coffee. And Parisian chocolate...and Cointreau chocolate...and Swiss Chocolate^^

Then we took the bus until close-to-my-home, Marta and I got off and walked the rest of the journey^^ and Nuria went home *pout*
So Marta and I got to my home, we got in as quietly as possible so as not to wake the doggy, we changed into our PJs and we got into bed...and we talked for an hour, until 8:30...and Marta was supposed to be home at 10 AM but we promptly ignored our mobile phones singing songs to wake us up until about 12^^

We had a sort of breakfast, Marta left and Mum and I watched the end of the New Year concert in Viena, which is family tradition. I missed half of it this year, but as long as I got to see the Blue Danube and the Radetsky March, I'm happy :P Lara, Mum and I went for a nap in the afternoon and I've decided I should spend all the day in my new sheep PJs...to go with the slippers^^

Tomorrow it's time for searching-for-the-envelope competition again...if I reach it in time, that is. dad's changed his free day from tomorrow to Thursday so I'm going to have to go with Mum to pick up grandmother at the airport.
Two weeks of stress...great!

But other than that...I've got good feelings about 2008.
