Yes, but you must remember..there aren't very many attractive Russian women! There are some but not a lot (that's what I've heard)..and the guys, it seems like they are all hot..so they get so depressed about the lack of good looking girls, and alcohol is really cheap, and people laugh at you if you ask for soda in a restaurant. It's the culture that forces them to drink. And I'd be fine with the old ladies. I've had enough experience with my grandmother to handle any babushka. Thanks!
