For the love of god...

I'm about as bored with the oh-my-god-Max-Mosley-is-a-sex-freak-eleven-eleven-eleven thing as I'm ever going to get.

I don't give a shit about Max Mosley's sex life.

I don't want to see images from that sex tape on the news while I have my lunch.

I don't care what sexual fantasies the man has and I'm not about to flail and say he's the next Hitler.

Dude, I'm as surprised as Gerhard Berger is that suddenly everyone in F1 is innocent and angelical...if Mosley's the first one to have ever had eeky kinks, then hell, that'd be quite a piece of news.

And the King of Spain not shaking his hand? The head of a country where sex life starts around 11 years old, mostly between underage girls and overage guys, a country where child pornography is at its peak and paedophiles have found their place in schools, working as teachers? Hokay, don't shake the pervert's hand, whatever ^^

I don't like Max Mosley more than the other person, and I haven't written about this issue til now, because I think it's such a pile of bullshit. But let's just lay low with all the awesome hypocrisy. I'd like to know how any other sex tapes involving anyone else that's famous look. Lovely, right?

Can we go back to the F1 now or must we just keep on going with another stupid scandal? Sex tapes should be locked away somewhere, because...ew. I have no interest in knowing anything about them.

I'd agree with you that his sex life is his own business, that side of it doesn't bother me. I'd prefer it if there was a move to get rid of him for his 'business' dealings, his threatening drivers for speaking their minds, and for his petty vindictiveness and the way he's repeatedly brought F1 into disrepute over the years.

Having said that, as the President of a global body, he should have resigned when the story broke. Regardless of the rights and wrongs (see above), not resigning has caused huge embarrassment, wasted FIA money, and given F1 vast column inches totally unrelated to the racing. How does that make F1 look to the outside world? How does that look to global corporations who might think twice about investing their money?

Or, another way of looking at it - if it had been Ron Dennis in that tape (and ew to that thought...), would he have been allowed near the paddock? I doubt it.

Oh, I definitely agree. So he likes hookers and whips and whatnot, it doesn't bother me one bit and I don't think it has anything to do with his job. I bet half of the people that kept bitching about him have similar dirty minds =)
The thing that did bother me was the nazi part, especially considering his background. I know he claimed that it didn't have anything to do with nazis, but it was pretty obvious and I hate the idea of the holocaust being ridiculed in that manner. While that still doesn't concern his ability to do his job, it's definitely morally reprehensible and a disgrace.
Personally, I don't really care wether he resigns or not. I try not to get into F1 politics if possible... they make my head hurt ^^
